Sunday Stillness: Learning to Just BE
I don’t know what it is about this need we have to fill every spare moment.
Maybe it is not everyone, but I know it is me.
I always have ideas running through my head.
Plans.
Dreams.
Things I want to build and do.
And before I know it, I am filling every open space with something.
But I need to remember to breathe.
To slow down.
To take in the small moments.
To just be.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
God never asked us to run faster than we are able.
He calls us to be still, to trust Him, and to stay rooted in Him.
It is not about how much we do. It is about why we do it.
When we do too much, we start to lose sight of what matters most.
My prayer this week is that we do not get lost in the busyness.
That we slow down, refocus, and simply be.
Always in Him.
